Badminton Horse Trials - World Famous Three-Day Event

A highlight of the international equestrian calendar

  • Where: Badminton, the Gloucestershire estate of The Duke of Beaufort, 85 miles west of London.

Actually, this is a four-day event - the first two days are given over to dressage. Saturday, when ticket prices are highest, is most popular, with a cross country event that includes 32 fences, walls and water obstacles. The top 20 competitors compete in show jumping on the last day. European, Australian, Irish, US and Canadian competitors regularly take part.
